A new year....a new life.

I can't think of a better way to start the new year than by photographing a new life. Yes, he's three months old, but his life has just begun. Levi's grandma brought him to the studio for his first professional photo shoot. Levi seemed to really enjoying having his photo made and he only took two breaks: one to eat and one for a diaper change. LOL

Allison and Shane have been married seven years. When I did their wedding photography, we visited this beautiful location in Deep Gap for a few wedding formals. They wanted to return to the same location for updated photos.

So, the buzz is strong about Falon and Derek's movie poster. Everyone was "wowed" when Falon opened her gift from me at her wedding rehearsal.

I had asked Falon and Derek for the name of their favorite love story movie. The movie? P.S. I Love You I wanted to recreate the poster using Falon and Derek as the models.

I had them come into the studio on the day of their engagement shoot and I took a few photos, but I never showed them to Falon. She never even asked to see them. lol
Imagine their surprise when they received the poster that resembled their favorite movie and they are the stars.


What is in your future at Susan Roark Photography. My mind is working overtime with creative ideas and I will be happy to work with your ideas.

Autumn & Chris

Wilkesboro Baptist church was the setting for the wedding of Chris & Autumn Greene Culbreth. A dinner reception followed at the Walker Center.

The wedding was directed by Laura Blackburn of From the Heart Events certified Decorator/Planner in Wilkesboro.
