JESUS is the reason for the season!

As Christmas day fast approaches, many of us are still busy preparing. Shopping, cleaning, preparing delectable treats, wrapping presents.

Over 2000 years ago the best gift of all was wrapped......not in shiny paper with a big shiny bow......but wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. Our JESUS! I consider every birth a miracle, but this child was born of a virgin, born in the most humble conditions and the brightest star in the sky led wise men to where he lay.

Wise men today still seek him. Wise men seek the Kingdom of God. Do you know him? I do!

As you greet people on the street and wish them a Merry Christmas, remember on Christmas day to wish Jesus a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY. He loves you, he came to this world to die and take our sin so that we may live eternally with him in a place called Heaven.

Merry Christmas everyone and may God bless you and prosper you in the coming year.

Saturday, October 4, 2008. Brandon and Krissy had blue skies, cooler weather and lots of friends and family join them for one of the happiest days of their life. Everything was wonderful and Brandon and Krissy have left for Cancun, Mexico for their honeymoon. Here are a few pics from the day.....

aaah Zoey!

Zoey turns two this week. I photographed her 1st birthday and she has changed so much. She is an outdoors kind of girl. We took a trip to Ashe Park where Zoey played in the creek, picking up sticks, throwing rocks, splashing feet, having fun. Zoey, you are an absolute doll.

October 4, 2008 is the date that Brandon & Kristen have chosen to get married. Of course, I will be doing the photography. We had a great time doing the engagement photos and I have put together a slideshow from the session. I hope you enjoy!

Ken, Melanie, Sarah and baby McFadyen

Four years ago this week, I had the honor of photographing Ken and Melanie's wedding. They were a joy then and a joy now. The joy has tripled with the addition of Sarah and will be quadrupled when the baby arrives, I'm sure. Ken is crazy (as you can tell) and Melanie is the sweetest. Little Sarah was not in the mood for her photo to be taken. She said "NO, Susan" Thanks Ken and Melanie for the opportunity. Love you guys!
