Trash the Dress?

For a while now, I have been interested in doing this type of session. Although it is very popular in other parts of the country, I haven't had a bride request it.

It is called the "trash the dress" session. I had rather call it "let's take those photos that I want and I don't have to worry about my dress".

My friend Ray Reynolds came over and when he is here, we are going to photograph something. I had bought this dress about a year ago at the Goodwill in Hickory just for this purpose. I was just waiting on the perfect opportunity to do the photography. So.......here are the photos.

We had our model (Tiffany Shatley) stand in the water, sit in the water and eventually lay in the water. She was such a good sport and the photos of her are amazing to say the least. She drew hearts in the sand, she danced on the edge of the water. She laughed, we took pictures.

And the dress.........perfectly fine.

If you are a bride and you have been looking for this type of photography and just can't imagine using your own bridal gown, go to David's Bridal and get one for $100.00. You will have the most fun and photos that will last a lifetime.

Derek & Falon

Oh, I can tell this couple will be happy. I had so much fun doing Falon's and Derek's engagement photos. They were both so easy to work with and open for all the ideas that I had. I look forward to the wedding in October!

Thanks to both of you for a great afternoon!

Ryan and Kynlon

Wow! Two weddings in one weekend!

Ryan and Kynlon were married on Sunday at the Friendship Baptist Church and celebrated with a reception at Jefferson Landing.

Although rain came at different times, we were able to get outdoors for a few quick shots of the happy bride and groom.

Thanks again to my friend and photographer Ray Reynolds for helping with the photography.

Special thanks to Ray Reynolds Photography for helping with the photography.

The day started early with photos at the salon and at Belk in the Boone mall for makeup.

Shoes are always a special part of the day!

A final touch of lipgloss before heading out to the ceremony.
